Rockingham PDC

We provide a cost effective, efficient base for both the delivery of Continuous Professional Development courses and for use by schools to run their own CPD events.  We offer:

Facilities

Rockingham Hall is our largest room, holding up to 110 people (Theatre style) or 100 people (Caberet style).  It is a versatile event space ideal for receptions, exhibitions and networking.  It has a large floor area, lots of natural light and is ideal for keynote speakers to deliver courses.

  • £256 per day Monday to Friday  (The cost of the room works out at £2.39 per delegate based on 107 delegates)

  • £281 per day Saturday and Sunday (The cost of the room works out at £2.62 per delegate based on 107 delegates)

The Fitzwilliam, Wentworth and Wharncliffe rooms are ideal venues for training events, seminars and presentations, all of which hold up to 36 people.  The rooms are spacious and flexible.

  • £189 per day Monday to Friday  (The cost of the room works out at £5.25 per delegate based on 36 delegates)

  • £204 per day Saturday (The cost of the room works out at £5.60 per delegate based on 36 delegates)

  • £92 per half day / twilight session  (The cost of the room works out at £2.55 per delegate based on 36 delegates)

  • £26 per hour

The Fullerton room is ideal for training events, seminars and presentations and holds up to 30 people.  

  • £189 per day Monday to Friday  (The cost of the room works out at £6.30 per delegate based on 36 delegates)

  • £204 per day Saturday (The cost of the room works out at £6.80 per delegate based on 36 delegates)

  • £92 per half day / twilight session  (The cost of the room works out at £3.06 per delegate based on 36 delegates)

  • £26 per hour

The Kepple room (holding up to 6 people) and Sitwell room (holding up to 12 people) are small seminar rooms, ideal for meetings and interviews.  If you are booking rooms for interviewing, we will meet and greet your candidates on arrival.  Speak to the Centre Manager to arrange this support.  We will also guarantee you privacy and make sure your interviews are not disturbed.  We have a breakout area where candidates can wait in comfort until called for interview.

The Milton room is our smallest room, ideal for 1:1 meetings and candidates waiting area or test room.

Doctor Teaching on Seminar

We have a breakout area which is an excellent place to relax during breaks and lunchtime.  It is also a great place for socialising and networking.  ​

There are a variety of comfy easy chairs, bistro style table and chairs and access to refreshments.  The breakout area also has free Wi-Fi.

 

Tea/coffee facilities available throughout the day from the Hatch, with a professional and personal service and are included in the room hire price.  Confectionery is also available to purchase at the Hatch.  For those courses that don't have a buffet lunch provided, a sandwich van visits the site daily to offer the opportunity for delegates to purchase something to eat.

A standard buffet can be requested at the time of booking your room, at a cost of - £7.10 per delegate.  Buffet lunches include a selection of meat, fish and vegetarian sandwiches, served on sliced white, wholemeal, wholegrain bread and white bread rolls.  Buffets also come with a variety of sacks including sausage rolls, chicken skewers, indian style snacks, vol-au-vents, salads, crisps, fresh fruit and cakes.

Breakfast meetings are charged at £15.00 per delegate and include room hire, use of facilities, refreshments and continental breakfast buffet,  which includes:

  • Selection of continental meats and cheeses

  • Selection of breads and rolls

  • Selection of jams and marmalades

  • Fresh fruit skewers

  • Orange juice

  • Tea/coffee

 

We can also provide Danish pastries, scones and cakes for morning or afternoon breaks.  Prices on application.
